Pamer.ai was founded by Rob Buchwald and is wholly owned by Akron Innovations, the applied-AI practice he founded in Akron, Ohio, in 2024.

The patent idea came from seeing common governance challenges in client work: people need AI to help with real tasks, while organizations need controls they can explain and evidence.

A US provisional patent application was filed in December 2025. Pamer is patent pending, in development, and currently selecting design partners.
